The Close of Saturnalia

A goddess looms in the night sky,
A giant with arms of many hues,
I woke from slumber with a sigh,
To find my friends in quite a muse.

Whispers filled the air of Saturn's fate,
A comet hurtling towards our land,
Fear and frenzy, no time to wait,
Days before it strikes the sand.

But amid all this chaos,
The people lose their sense of grace,
Partying hard, without a pause,
Indulging in their wild embrace.

But for me, it wasn't the same,
I questioned the looming disaster,
What was this plan, what was its aim,
And how could I be the master?

I'll seek the truth and find a way,
To stop this cataclysmic sight,
For, in the end, it's our hope that may,
Lead us through the darkest night.
